French Conjunctions
French conjunctions, or conjonctions, are words that connect other words, phrases, or clauses. They are essential for constructing complex sentences and clarifying the relationships between ideas. There are two main types of conjunctions in French: coordinating and subordinating.
Coordinating conjunctions connect words, phrases, or clauses of equal importance, while subordinating conjunctions introduce a dependent clause, linking it to the main clause.
